Halloween 2011

We were engineers and trains for Halloween this year! Kai went trick-or-treating for the first time and a train of friends attached themselves to his Thomas engine.

Kai had a fun 3rd Birthday. He started the day with a Marionberry Mill Bay coffee cake and ended the day with a red velvet Thomas the train cake. He shared the day with Aunties, cousins and friends. We even had a music teacher come visit.

Rio 1 Year Update

Rio celebrated his first birthday with a few friends in Kodiak and then had a big party in Portland on Grandpa's birthday.

Rio is 20 pounds 5 ounces and 28 1/2 inches at 1 year old. He likes socks, balls and balloons. He has 12 teeth! He says "ma" - mom, "da" - dad, and Di - Kia. He says"ba" for ball, balloon and bottle. He also says socks and dog. He loves to eat avocados and bananas. Some of his favorite things are being outside and swimming.
